bansheeyfz
about to buy some t-6s and toomey says their jet kit is perfect. But i heard that it only works if you keep your lid on. They only give you 280s and 270 mains
sredish
There is no 'perfect' jet kit. No one can get you the perfect jet because 1) every bike is different, 2) mods will affect jetting more, even like snorkel or lid off and 3) most people are in different elevations, locations and more. So, you can use their "jet kit" as a baseline and work with it from there. I'd most definitely keep the lid off. If your concerned with dirt then get some pantyhose or a K&N lid to cover it but there's good power to be had for free there. With the lid off, your most likely looking for 290s or 300s depending on where your at. Start with the 280 and go from there.
differentstrokes
The kit comes with needles too, I'd personally just buy the pipes by themselves and get a few jets from the dealer...the filter they give you is a stock replacement and won't seal up right with the lid off. Get a proflow setup or some clampon's and at least some 300 mains.
dajogejr
My bike was borderling too lean with 330 mains, their T5 pipes and their 1 into 2 foam filter.... The needles they sell are better, they eliminate the lean spot in the middle from stock needles. I think Vito's has similar needles....that's what you're paying for in their jet kit. Main jets are a few bucks a piece...big deal. Oh, you're paying for a pretty bag and sticker, too... If you give us your riding temps, elevations and all mods done to your bike, we can get you CLOSE on the jetting. Sredish hit the nail on the head with his points, though...
