crazybluerider
You could paint them if you want a cheap fix but that usually cracks of pretty fast and looks shitty. I would have them pc'ed or chromed.
shatodavi
I would just buy some shock covers from outwear.
ClimbAnyHill
Back to resurrect this topic. Except these springs are for YFZ shocks. I just had a set come in and was wondering the same. How do I remove the springs? Who's a tech on this stuff? Help me out.
racer
back off the preload alllll the way. then squeeze out the coil hats from between the retainer on the bottom of the shock shaft and the spring. its real easy to do.

That was hella easy, thanks! The springs are getting powdercoated in the future, should hold up well.
