nicktoney Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 alright, so im gonna get some white alpinestars tech6 boots... my question is this :i do a lot of trail riding, and i would like these to stay looking nice. Does anyone have white boots, dont have to be alpines, and how is the upkeep? easy to keep looking white? scuffs easy to clean out? Quote
easyrider470 Posted October 5, 2006 Report Posted October 5, 2006 i got the perfect stuff....lots and lots and lots of ELBOW grease....that'll keep em looking nice and new.....my advice to you is go with a different color.....we buy riding boots to keep your feet and legs and ankles from getting jacked up during riding....not to look nice.... word of advice....buy some dark color boots and then buy some cool riding pants and a cool jersey.....the boots are going to get beat to shit man over time..... okbeast Posted October 5, 2006 Report Posted October 5, 2006 I agree with easy. On the other note, you could try using some Scotch Guard on them. Quote
differentstrokes Posted October 7, 2006 Report Posted October 7, 2006 Wesley's bleach white works good...it's the stuff you clean white letter tires with, any walmart has it. Quote
23champ Posted October 9, 2006 Report Posted October 9, 2006 I've got white ones, and I wish they were black.....if that tells you anything! Quote
DirtyFitz Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Ditto, I own white boots and now they're dirt faded and sand beat Quote
ClimbAnyHill Posted October 29, 2006 Report Posted October 29, 2006 Bleach White, white wall tire cleaner. It will just loosen up all the crap and rinse/wipe away. Quote
