3
Good day suspension gurus. Can you explain me the pros and cons on these two set up? What are the advantages the add +1 up front? and those it means you have to shorten the rear??? thanks for all your wisdom
EastCoast Banshee
The +1 up front moves your motor back and balances your bike out alot better. Your not required to shorten your rear it all depends what your gonna be doing. Mx or woods go with -1 or -2 as for sand and drag i really dont know but +4 seems to be what alot of people use. 3
Yah but cutting a inch on the back that will centered the weigth even more? i am looking to know what is the best setup the improve handling on that beast. I know aftermarket shock is on of it, but geometry speaking adding inchs here and there look to be the only way. So what is the best setups so far? 3
Duh! sorry about it dude. I ride mostly trails, a lot bumpy and some sand pits. No mx cause theres is only one track here that is forbiden for wheelers. So open bumpy trails and woods trails
EastCoast Banshee
Get yourself some +2+1 a-arms for a start and shocks to go with them. I highly recomend Elkas but if you on a tight budget yfz450 shocks will do. As for the swing a-arm its more of personal prefrence. Im personally gonna go with a -2 to balance it out the best i can and i need all the traction to. I ride woods a good bit myself from what iv read -1 seems to be the way to go. Also if you still need to get alittle bit narrower than +2+1 a-arms get 4-1 offset rims they will take 2 inchs off. hope this helps if ya got any more questions just ask.
