what is the best mod for a stock banshee to get more horsepower for Under $250?

STOCK BANSHEE

PIPES and yes you can find some used for less than 250 (probably old fmfs or dgs painted flat black with a can but anything is better than stock pipes. Stock pipes= Ugly,no performance and weight around a ton each.

Dont waiste your money on gizmos

Kn + pipes and now you can talk about feeling a difference.

Ohh yeah, and the boost bottle has helped me win many a races. Best bang for the buck out there, most people just don't know how to use it. I'll let you in on the secret....

When someone is about to pass you, rip it out of the intake boots, and chuck it at them, aim for upper torso, and you'll be sure to win.

Thanks...dude. that funny shit is just what I needed to hear.

250? If you could squeeze 300 you could probably pick up a used set of FMF or Toomey T5 pipes.

Don't forget, it's gonna cost you 20 bucks in jets to get it right, probably....

Look on here in the classified for used pipes, or head over to Planet Sand as well...

Air filter, without the lid and a K&N with T5 pipes, I'd say 290 and 310 main jets will fill the bill.

Put the 290 in if you're gonna run with a lid and no snorkel, 310 if you're gonna run with the lid off.

However, you'll probably be a little rich...

225 for Toomeys in good shape is a steal....you'd be silly not to jump all over this....it is exactly what you want.

From stock pipes and K&N Pod filters to T5 pipes made a WORLD of difference on my stock motor last year..... Plus, you're dumping weight, it'll sound 10X better...and rev out further and cleaner....

If your really wanting to Jet for a Boost Bottle. Take your current jets out and get a 1/8 in drill bit and drill the jets out. That way when you get massive craks in your intake boots maybe it wont lean out. But then again that will only help engine life beacause you still have to worry about the dirt and sand getting in to the engine. :banghead:
