I have more bottom end now then my banshee has ever had, even when I had my stock set-up and fmf fatties. No doubt there's a lightswitch hit cause there is soo much top end. Thing is before I could never putt around in the dune trails and hills under the powerband as easy as I can now.

Interesting.... Those Trinity Pipes from what I hear are very similar to T5...would you say?

I've got a lot of timing and pretty good compression (185 PSI)...and my bottome sucks...I got a feeling putting around the dunes under the pipe is gonna be boring...:)

Yea I'd actually say the Trinity's produce more top-end power than the T5's but similiar none-the-less. I run +6 timing, exactly 185psi. My bottom sucks too, but better than my stock motor ever thought about being at any stage of modification.

i agree with Brad's analogy about the comparison between the trinity's and the T5's. i also believe that the hit is a little more subtle with the trinity's compared to the T5's.

when you mention more bottom end, is your current setup more throttle responsive? does it get on the pipe quicker?

Chuck I'd defintly say it's more throttle responsive and hits the pipe quicker. The main reason I say it has more low-end than my stock cylinders, is I frequenlty ride dune trails and such with my kids on their quads so I can keep an eye on them. It use to be a clutching nightmare. This was the 1st and most apparent difference between my cub and my stock stroke motor (ported and/or stock port). It is a lot easier to ride under the powerband and lug the motor through the trails with minimal clutching as compared to before. I couldn't believe the difference!!! Now this is mainly due to the +4mm stroke, someone may get more bottom end from a +4 stroke on stock cylinders. I'm not sure cause I haven't compared the 421 cub with stroked stock cylinders. But in my case it was immediatly apparent I had more low end.

Hi,

what do you think about this or that or this.

Are this things what you guys mean, and what yould you prefer?

Did you prefer a other company, maybe with better prices, or is this okay?

Could i believe the hp they say, or is it to high?

And which kind of kit(ccm) is okay for street driving, i don't wont to be in the garage each day after a ride, to rebuilt the motor!

And what is your favourite, a RZ motor modified or a kit like above?

The "that" add is misworded.

Yes, you must split the cases whenever you replace the crank...however, a 4 mil is a "drop in" crank. In other words, the bottom half of the cases do not have to be "trenched" or machined so the connecting rod clears... Larger than a 4mil does require machine work...

I agree brad....my cub has more bottom end than stock, not saying much though...:)

Nice thing is, though...pin it...and wait a 1/2 second, it'll be blistering the tires soon...

I love my cub motor, but...if I had the money, I would build a Cheetah motor with Powervalves next time out.

Those second two are the motor kits we're talking about. The problem you're going to run into, Steam...is you're in Germany. I'd say some builders won't ship out of the US, but....maybe one of them can chime in to concur.

As big of a company as Trinity is...I'm sure they'll ship there.

While I'm not a fan or Trinity....all they are is a reseller for the cub kits, and cheetah kits.

Those monoblocks are made by CP Industries....

Anytime you put 80 to 90 HP out of a motor designed to make 33 to 35...well, it's not going to be as reliable. I think if you keep the timing and compression within reason, though...and MAINTAIN the bike, you'll be fine. Luckily...since you ride street, I'd say that would mean less freequent tranny oil changes and air filter cleanings!!

The last link is the Cheetah cub we are talking about. Though that one is for a stock stroke crank. I would definitly go with a +4 crank and do the 68mm 421cc cub. I would say the reliablility factor is close to a stock motor but will require a little more frequent piston and ring change. Notice the big difference in price as well. That's what makes the cub so popular, same power without the price. The price of the kit is good but I would PM Jeff (FASTOYS) on here and get your stuff from him. He can easily answer any question and handle any problems you have as where these ebay guys won't. The most popular modified motor is easily the 421 cub motor!

BTW dajogjr, that's not Trinity making that claim that you don't have to split the cases for the 421.

Thanks for pointing that out Brad.... I reread the add carefully...and all I saw was Trinity...then, realized it was someone reselling their stuff.

My fault...bad knock on Trinity...I've edited my post accordingly...

PM Jeff @ FASTOYS or call him @ 785-364-5325

I'd ask him right off the bat if he's willing to ship to Germany...then, go from there!

Hi RNBrad,

if i understand you right, you mean this, okay?

And please, gimme a e-mail or a link, where i can get it, with the prices and so on!

No, that is the Cheetah, not the Cheetah Cub. There is a 421cc in both models. Check dajogejr's previous post as to where to get it. I don't really recommend anyone other than jeff at FASTOYS.

for that kind of riding i would look into a passion 12 port 4 mill setup with k&ns and dual 35pwks with an oversized radiator, engine ice and a billet impeller and keep your static compression tame maybe 160 pounds or so ..my 2 cents
