sredish
I will be there as long as Kevin doesn't kill us on the way down. LOL Ken, just realized who I think I'm talking to. This is Scott with the black 450r that was out there with the other Banshee last weekend. I've been pushing this on the 450r site as well. Still not sure if I'm going to be able to race it but I hope the turnout is what is expected.
K-Freak
Hi Everyone, Preparation Continues for the North40 Quad Challenge, October 14th. Just looking at the weather forcast for the Sherman area and I'm happy to report that we are looking at Sunny skies and below average temps for race day. Sunny and 70 degrees. Not too bad. The track is coming together really well and we are doing final prep on the pit and parking areas this weekend. We'll do prep on the track on Friday afternoon for Friday night practice (4pm-9pm), and then we'll re-prep Saturday afternoon for the Race on Saturday night. We're now expecting better than 100 racers for the big event, including two riders from Japan and Current Pikes Peak Champion Jim Goertz is coming down from the Toronto area. We have the Dyno Works Mobile Dyno on hand, Drag Quad Exhibition runs, two food vendors, at least two live bands, and we also have helicopter rides. So it should be a good time. Hope to see all of you there. Flyer here: International Flyer Ken Stouffer PPIHC Pro Quad #
K-Freak
Ken, just realized who I think I'm talking to. Still not sure if I'm going to be able to race it but I hope the turnout is what is expected. I hope the turnout is good as well. We sure are working hard to make sure the track is up to snuff. If you can't come race, I hope you'll at least come out for a few hours to see the action. But I totally understand if you can't. Having a new baby in the house is a full time job, for sure. Take care, and thanks for the feedback on the track!! Ken
K-Freak
I just wanted to let everyone know that you will be able to camp on Friday night after practice. So if you want to come early you can get your Saturday wristband on Friday night and get settled in for the weekend. ken
K-Freak
The weather still looks good for Sherman! We are looking at partly cloudy skies and mid seventy degree temps. Perfect weather for racing. If you're watching the weather online, be sure to look at Sherman, TX, and not Dallas. Dallas is about two hours south of the track and the weather is completely different. See you Friday and Saturday!

My boy loves that loud shit and was in aaawww... Sure were some sick looking shee's in the pits. Alot of work involved in mounting those wicked looking swaybars and stuff? I'll be hitting that track up when our MX series is back at N40 for sure.. :geek:

Maybe early next year.. New info on our next series has just been told to me, gonna be 6 races with NTMX, North 40 and NAcona.. The inside info I have gotten says there are gonna be 2 big quad classes.. ( Possiblly a pro and amatuer class not sure on that yet!) I am gonna run the series, along with my boy on his mini... As stated I am gonna run it, I won't admit to calling it a race yet!
