Eddie
hi i was wondering if anyone could tell me what the hell is going on with my shee. The only mods on it are removed snorkel, K&N filter, clip on needle jet changed to fourth position, #190 main, stock air pilot needle, i have synchronized the carbs, but need to know what to set my air pilot screw to, my elevation is 2191 feet, current temp is 0-20 degrees celsius. The throttle is sticking, and it is idling irratically when i take the choke off if at all, any help would be greatly appreciated im stuck
dajogejr
I think you're a hair lean on your main, despite your elevation...however, that won't fix your idle. Try unplugging your TORS system. Do a search here, chase@miamiatv.com has a thread will illustrations on how to unplug it.
Eddie
it doesnt seem to stick now or idle irraticaly since i have resync'd it to near perfection, although one side does seem richer than the other... i believe it is my airpilot screw, if anyone could give me an idea of what to set it to that would be great

dajogejr
warm the bike up completely. Turn each air screw all the way in. Turn it out 1/2 turn, wait 20 seconds for this setting to take effect. Keep going out 1/2 turn at a time, waiting each time, and get the highest idle you can. Then the air screws are set. Eddie
Thanks for the quick response everyone, i will set the airscrews as following, and remove the TORS system to see if that solves the problem and will repost with the results.
