methyman
but the out of frame looks better They make out frame drag pipe for small bore or big bore. Need to find a Shearer Pipe dealer to get them ordered. There is a 4-6 week wait time for pipes. Here are my big bore pipes.
rocketboy
i waited 3+months for matt to make me some shearer small bore 2 out 1 side drag pipes for my cub so i did some research and found RDZ pipes were atleast as good for small bore cubs so i got them instead ,im very pleased with the performance of them and yes ive owned shearers and rockets ,etc.. before so i know what a drag pipe should be. methyman
I called Matt Shearer and got my pipes made in 3 weeks. I guess it pays to know someone for a couple years.
race-a-holic
The shearer in frames I had (like Chase has) pulled insanely hard. It's like the power never falls off. I prefer the way they pulled compared to my cpi out of frames I have now.

Barracudabrendon
Well if your not in to big of a hurry we are currently putting together our first run of the new stamped out of frame small bore drags and should be done with them within a month. As far as wait time goes all I can tell you is that we do our best. Most people think of us as a huge shop but in reality we are just 3 guys Mat, myself, and his brother Seth who pour our heart and souls into what we do because it's something we love. As the riding seasons come and go you can understand that certian parts of the year are busier then others. So if the small bore out of frame drags are what you are after I'd say give us a call in a few weeks and we should be able to help you out and send you in the right direction. Thanks Brendon
Malott 1
Keep up the good work Brendon. I have ran inframe cpi's out of frame cpi's and now these hand made small bore shear pipes and found these have performed the best.
rocketboy
I can tell you this much going from rocket pipes to shearer inframes for me was a night and day power difference/gain that i could feel . they hit really hard and pull forever ..even up at peak rpm . bkabina
Shearers work the best on every engine I have had.I called Matt on a Monday and he custom built a set for my engine and I had them that Friday. Those guys are super and build one hell of a pipe. Grand River pipes are awesome as well.I have bought alot of pipes from Andy and they are right at the top.Andy knows how to build and has always treated me right.IMO there are no other options besides the two.
