race-a-holic
I was running around 5 lbs. in my slicks. After a decent burnout, they would hook like crazy.

csrmel
when running knobbys on asphalt i have found that airing them up as high as i dare makes for a quicker pass. with high pressure i get more wheelspin off the line but the high pressure has substancially less rolling resistance and makes for alot quicker acceleration once they do hook up. what ive found is that the tradeoff is worth it, atleast for me. in reality, knobbys dont belong on asphalt. the open tread blocks fold over as you go and create huge ammounts of drag. firefighterjosh
I always ran 12PSI. The harder sidewalls made it easier to corner
