jlsparky7
Yes.... i did a search. Didnt find anything other than one guy that said he hadnt seen good performance from them. Anyone have experience first hand or rode a quad with ishocks on it? I was looking into getting a set this winter and was wondering what everyone thought. Id still like your opinion even if you heard something. Just let me know where you heard it. Edited September 18, 2006 by jlsparky7

White06Shee
jumping is fine i get a smother landing with mine compared to my buddys shee, i weigh around 150 also, it was around $1500.00 for the whole kit and it included shocks, a-arms, brake lines, tie rod, and other stuff that i dont remember, and it was easy to take off my old suspention and put the i5500 kit on, it took maybe 20min. to take off and about 30 to put on, but the only thing that took the longest was adjusting the tie rod so my tires were pefectlly striaght. EastCoast Banshee
Personally iv herd alot of bad stuff about then but thats just me. I wouldnt pay that kinda money though. For 1500-1600 you can get alot better stuff even an LT setup. If it were me id pick up a set of elkas and a srt of a-arms from someone like lonestar, rolldesign, or one of the good names out there. So you would reccomend elka shocks and a-arms that arnt as expensive as elkas? I went to elkas website and they email you pricing :yankyank: ... how gay. Anyways how much do a set of elka fronts shocks/piggys run? Do any of the companys u listed for a-arms make them in black? (i hate chrome) What should i do about the other stuff i need? the brake line extentions and stuff like that...
White06Shee
well see the 1500 or 1600 dollars is what they price is listed for i got it for $1200 on my discount threw pipe city but for 1200 bucks i got everything i needed for the swap, but you think elka shocks are 800 or so plus 80 for lines, 400 for a arms, plus whatever tie rods are that are +2, adn shit like that that is why i went with hydro, but hey i like them and thats all that matters and if i had more money i would of bought the elkas
Hollister_Hitman
Janssen motorsports $1450 +2+1 arms with comp adj piggy back elkas. Also comes with brake lines and tie rods. They also have some cheaper arms that require your spindles to be reamed for about $150 cheaper http://janssenmotorsports.com/index.php?cP...3245a32dd6c1e09 Edited September 19, 2006 by Hollister_Hitman

Hollister_Hitman
Im not quite sure what those pricings include. Is that just front shocks? :ermm: Yeah just front shocks or the rear one like it says, but when you call and order front shocks with a-arms they give you a package deal for like $100 less. Only thing is they only had the blue mx tech arms left and I wanted red. Plus the shock are made in Canada at elka so the guy said around two weeks to be shipped. I ordered on 9/11 so I'll let you know how it goes. They said they would call me when they ship. I think im gunna get a cheaper brand of a-arms then get the elka shocks later on. Thats a whole lot of money to dump at once.
