izericson
as stated above what clutch you put in is gonna depend on your mods and how much power you have. more power = heavier duty clutch/springs.
Skidmark
Actually I have R6 clutches in mine. They work REALLY good. They main difference is how much tougher they are. A normal clutch would be slipping by the time these get broken in. They're awesome.
smkmupbanshee
I've had the best luck with a $35.00 tusk...They last alot longer than the barnett's I've ran and cost alot less... :baseball_original:
dajogejr
Call jeff at Fast and get his "homemade" clutch kit. It's street bike fibers, HD Steels and barnett HD springs. I used it all last year on my stock motor, bolt on parts...with 3 HD and 3 stock springs. I'm using the same clutch this year with my 4mil cub (all 6 HD Springs) and have about 12 to 15 dyno runs on it and around 70 or so 300ft sand drag passes.... All last year, all this year...and it's still going great. The springs play a huge role in how well your clutch holds up...
KpnitG
My mods are ported, A graydon 35MM PWK carb set up, T5 pipes, carbon fiber reeds, lightened flywheel, As i remember.. I heard that the barnett clutches kinda suck? how are the dirt diggers?? Thanks Guys!!
dajogejr
Barnett HD springs are the bomb. Call Jeff...his kit with 3 HD springs and 3 Stock springs is all you'll need.... I think his kit is about 10 bucks more than if you were to buy a barnett or EBC kit...and well worth it.
badassbanshee479
been running jeffs clutch for the past three years, everything from a bolt on play bike all the way up to an alky drag bike!! they are the $hit!!!
dajogejr
Glad you mentioned that...JT. When I get my override and lockup put in...think it'd be worth it to get new steels and fibers, or have you been running those steels and fibers since day one....same set? badassbanshee479
only thing I changes was, when I went to a lock up I put the stock springs back in, other than that its all the same stuff!!
