pipebomb
Here's what you get in the Shift-Pro kit. New softer, lighter spring and a a new retainer arm w/ a wide roller bearing. replaces the super stiff stock spring and the retainer arm w/ the wimpy washer riveted to it. add in a modded shift star and it shits like butter. go that set-up in my '01 and just haven't gotten around to doing it o the '06 yet

platinumjason
I also run the shift pro with cascade shift star, shifts really smooth, I just need a shorter shifter now and I'll be as good as you can get it.

pipebomb
check Ebay, thats where I got both of mine. Their Id is "simplythat" and they are actually Tudor Racing Products, the maker of the Shift-pro kit Shift Pro http://shiftpro.com Cascade has both parts http://www.cascadeinnovations.net/ under "Banshee Accessories & Performance", then under "Shift Mods" Edited September 19, 2006 by pipebomb
streetbanshee
to install it do u have to split the cases or just remove the right side case cover also the shift star mod on cascade innovations is it a new shift star or u have to send them yours ? pipebomb
In a nutshell: #1 drain your oil and coolant. I reccomend installing one of those EZ-drain waterpump covers and the aluminum impeller too while you got it off. #2 take off the kick start lever and the footpeg. #3 pull the whole clutch cover off. #4 remove the clutch assembly and you can get right at it. Animalman294
With the modded star you should be able to hit nuetral at will. Before my modded star went on I had to shut the bike off, but now I can hit it with the motor runnin'. I had the shift shaft modded too and it should shift like butter..............
okbeast
What mod can you do to the shift shaft?
