not sure how many us dollars that is but here's what you need.

+4 hot rods crank

porting to match the crank

new wiseco pistons, set up for the stroker

coolhead/noss head/etc. with stroker domes

pair of 30mm Mikuni TM carbs

FMF Fatty Pipes

with that, get it assembled and you'll be golden. Killer torquey motor that will be great in the trails and FLY in the open.

to recoup some of the dough, sell the dmc pipe, and stock carbs. last i heard, eric gorr was doing some work in the uk. he's the shiz when it comes to 2 stroke porting IMO. other than that, can't help ya with UK builders.

SUSPENSION. Forget the motor mods until you have suspension that can keep up. Once you get the suspension sorted out, then work on the motor.

I second that, a good set of shocks will probably give you the biggest bang for the buck in trails. There is only soo much fatsre you can make the bike, and it doesnt really help it to get through the trails any quicker. Definately do the suspension first.

I'd go with the stroker crank as well. Stroker, porting to match the added stroke, cool head with some higher compression domes to give you more bottom end. You would still probably have some $$ left over to get started on suspension parts. I'd get the rear end done first since the front will tend to be more expensive and you might not have enough $$ left over to do the front after the engine build.

i thought the stock banshee rear shock was pretty good. i have elkas up front but left the rear stock shock. its rides great. plus the rear shock was 800 bucks. i would say front suspension then rear.

your crayz the rear is what takes all the abuse from the power of the motor and absorbes most of the weight when you jump or hit something... when you spend all that money to redo a motor and then defeat the purpose of it by leavng a shitty shock on there youve just wasted time and money.

for sure get the rear done then go front.
