bigdaddy69
this week i plan on having a head milled either .020 or .030. my questions are if my shee is all stock except for pipes should i mill it .020 or .030? also in the next week plan on advancing timing maybe to +4 will these mods cause the need for 110 octane or will i be able to stick with pump gas and be ok? also i know shee will run hotter once head is milled whats the best way to keep her cool? if you want u can also throw in some jetting suggestions im at 3400ft riding temps mid 70's to 90's any input is appreciated thanks
CadillacBanshee
After its all back together do compression check. That will tell you what octane you can run. With that mill you should be ok at 91 still, but CHECK TO MAKE SURE.
dajogejr
At 3400 ft...you should be able to run premium pump gas and +4 timing....with a .020 to .030 head. As said, do a compression check to be sure... We could help with jetting if you tell us your list of mods and carb type... At least we know your altitude and temps...that's usually the next question:)
