Redlined
I am posting this for a friend with a raptor. I know it's not a Banshee, but i also know alot of you guys have Raptors, as well... He is wanting to know how to adjust the clutch, at the clutch discs. He tells me there are two openings on the clutch side. The middle hole has the nut but I didn't see anything in the other little one that would help. He turned the engine all the way over and didn't see a notch or anything. If there is someone who has done this before, can you please enlighten us? Thank you in advance :baseball_original:
akita8
Those are not for clutch adjustment, they are for timing and setting the valves. To adjust the clutch you need to find the lever that goes into the case. The case has a mark on it and so does the lever. With the enngaged (no pressure on clutch lever) use the adjustments on the cable near the lever. Once that adjustment is done adjust your freeplay at the clutch lever. Raptors do not have the internal adjustment like the Banshees. Good luck

My buddy called me and said that he realized he was looking at the wrong case side (as you mentioned) :baseball_wacko: I got my hands on a manual and we seem to be on the right track now. I am going to pass on your information. Thanks for your help
