QuAdRaCeR^775
Ok the back brakes on my banshee quit working out of nowhere, and I noticed some brakefluid leaking out of one of the seals on the caliper. So I took it off and was taking it apart... These bolts are so fucking stuck I snapped one off and stripped the other. Im not about to pay $240 for a new caliper or buy one off ebay thats in just as bad shape. Can anyone tell me how to get these bolts out? Banshee_19
Put a little heat on the threads on the bolt and hammer in the next size up of socket or allen key, and then try it, but the heat trick usually works.

QuAdRaCeR^775
Goddamn, I was heating it up and the whole thing catches on fire from the brake fluid, I hammered a 11mm socket on it and the bolt snapped off soon as I started trying to turn it. So thats two snapped bolts and they are the ones that hold the brake pads and the two halfs together.

Just pick yourself up a used one in a decent condition, if it works , it works.... replace the pads in it when you get it .
IROOST1
If you give up on it, ill take the old crapped out one, ill pay for shipping. Or use vice grips to get the pins out, and lube and a punch and hammer to get the slides out. if it was worth it, i would almost have you send it to me and i can rebuild it but its just easier to buy one off of a 03 or newer off ebay. Just keep at it, they ALWAYS eventually come apart.
