sweetquads
I am getting rid of my 38mm alky's and putting some gas carbs on but not sure what size would be the right fit for my bike. I want the PWK Keihin Carburetors i think but which ones? 34, 35, 38??
dajogejr
I'm assuming you mean for your 521 Cheetah in your sig? I'd go 39PWKs to feed that monster... Just curious...why are you going from meth back to gas??

sweetquads
Alky is just more of a pain. I already have a fast enough bike. Its faster than like 80% of the other banshee's out there, and there is always somebody faster. So i am willing to give up a little power for convinience. With alky i can only ride around for like 10 minutes and i have to refuel. That means i can ride out to the dunes make like 1 race or maybe 2 then i have to head back. With Gas i will be able to ride longer. Also what do you think my carbs are worth. I am gonna put them on Ebay, but want to have an idea what i will get. They are 38mm Mikuni with PJ's and custom oversized float bowls. Edited September 2, 2006 by sweetquads
dajogejr
Maybe I'm missing something....but since you already have powerjettted Mikunis, why don't you just use those? Replace the dump tubes and rejet 'em..... I know you can't replace the dumps on Keihins...I'm 99% sure you can on Mikunis, though.... I understand your dillema...I'm in the same boat. I have the guy that's going to hook me up on meth, and he knows his shit.... My ONLY concern is Braap....Braap...Braauugghhhh....cough cough...running out at the dunes as well. I'm sure my little 421 Cub will get me quite a few runs on alky though....I'll just have to park my truck close by....

More then likely you'll get around 400.00-500.00 for them,But it all depends if there's enough peaple interested in them.I got 260.00 for a set of 32mm mikunis with nothing done to them,Yet I got 197.00 for a set of stock 26mm carbs. You can never tell.
