Jetting for PC's

Dinner

Recommended Posts

Hey, i'm hopefully going to be recieving some Pro Circuits from a fellow HQ'r and am wondering what i should start my jetting at, or maybe it wont have to be changed that much. But anyways...im at around 900ft, air temp is around 20-25 Celcius....My current jetting for DG Pipes, Boyesen Reeds, and K&N W/O Lid is a 310 Main, 25 Pilot, Needle on the 4th groove from the bottom, Air screw 1 Turn out.(I'm pretty sure that i remember). I'm just wondering if you guys think there will be much change in the main. I have 320's sitting at home, so should i go get some bigger ones? And do you think i will have to fiddle with the needle a lot/air screw...or be able to leave it where it is. Ovbiously its mostly trial and error but just thought i would ask

Thanks

I would guess the PC's flow better than the DGs. Since you already have 320s...I'd put them in.

This would be a good time to completely remove your carbs and clean the heck out of 'em, too if you haven't done it in a while.

You're gonna be close....get a couple sets of plugs to be sure...:)

Thanks Guys

I was hoping i would be close so i wouldn't have to go get some more jets . And i have an extra set of plugs kicking around so i'll probably get a few more when im in town.

Was also wondering guys if the PC's require any type of packing? The silencers are 304's if that matters.

Go to Lowes or Home Depot and get the pink panther corning insulation....cheap and flat out works just fine.

A LOT of people run that for their packing.

Cool, thanks Dajogejr. And is that Pink Panther Cornering Insulation, or Corning? And do you fella's pack the silencers RIGHT PACKED, or do you leave some space, etc. I'm new to aftermarket silencers :baseball_whistle:
