FireHead
WHere is everyone attaching the ground straps from the wires? Pictures would of people's intalls on the coil and wires would also be sweet ass. Thanks in advance. :baseball_santa:
jbooker82
I put mine on one of the head studs. Just make the hole a little bigger and then put another nut on top.

jbooker82
For the coil i just got some aluminum angle iron. Just make a backet out of it. I used the old coil for the bolt pattern for mounting on the frame. Then I just bolted the new coil to the other side of the angle iron. Sorry my GF has my digital camera so i cant get you any pics. None of this is really a porblem for me. I would just like to see other people's setups, as they may have come up with a mounting solution that is sexier than mine. :baseball_mitt:
FireHead
I finished installing it this weekend. I'd take a picture, but no one did that for me, so now I am sad and bitter. :baseball_bat:

FireHead
Al right now I know why no one wanted to take a picture of their setup. It's hard as hell to get a good picture taken down in there. I blew out my sandal in the process. Edited August 29, 2006 by FireHead
RNBRAD
I ended up not using the wires. They are pretty trick but I had some spiro pro wires in red and I just had to use those. I used like a 1/2'' angle aluminum. Cut the holes to fit the frame and then holes for the coil itself. Looks totally factory!
jbooker82
I like the water bottle relocated up to the front. That is pretty trick too

My wires are a little bit of a cluster at this point, I will have to see if I can do something better with them. I think I am going to have to get Brad to come over and clean my bike. I mean I thought it was clean ang shiney in there until I took that picture last night and then Brad posted his up right after me.
racer
Brads bike has a magical force field that keep it from getting dirty. and you too can have one, its a meth habbit. after a few hot rails of some good ice he gets out a dirty t shirt and spits polishes the whole thing. i think. csrmel
has anyone ever dyno tested this coil on a banshee to compare before and after?
FireHead
has anyone ever dyno tested this coil on a banshee to compare before and after? Yep, my stock coil was old and gay, my new coil is shiney and has color matching wires. That right there is worth 2hp. I can take it to work tomorrow and see if I can get the engine on the dyno, but I am not sure that I care that much. It's starts easier for sure though. :baseball_bat: Brads bike has a magical force field that keep it from getting dirty. and you too can have one, its a meth habbit. after a few hot rails of some good ice he gets out a dirty t shirt and spits polishes the whole thing. i think. Hmmmmmmm. I see where I have gone wrong in my life, I transitioned from Red Bull to riding the white pony, as apposed to developing a meth habbit. Dammit, why do I always have to screw up! :baseball_innocent:
