on z throttle
Sorry in advance about this beat to death question. I'm looking at the Toomey 5 and the Trinity 4 exhuast system. From reading the past post on these pipes, is it safe to assume there pretty much equal? Aside from the price. Because I rather have the stainless then the chrome. dajogejr
I can tell you the Toomey pipes fit and finish-wise are about second to none. They don't do any one thing the best, they just do everyting very well. RNBRAD is a big guy on the Trinity pipes...he can chime in on them. I was very happy with my Toomeys, and hopefully fastcar01 is happy with 'em too (just bought 'em a month ago or so...) They just werent' the right pipe for my new motor... Powerwise, you're not going to be dissapointed in either.
shanYE west
My cousin has a set of trinity stage IV's and the fit and finish was very nice.. Just as good as my T-5's. The trinity's use a slip fit and dosn't use the exhaust couplers wich made for a clean look. Plus I like the spark arrestor kit (end caps) better then my Toomey's sparky type arrestors.. In my opinion power was very similar... Both pipes are very nice...
on z throttle
Thanks for the input. I think I'm going with the Trinity pipes, so I don't have to worry about rust. I also have a 400EX with Curtis Sparks exhaust and I'm really happy with it, but the rust is starting to show, and I don't want that as a issue with the Banshee.
