What else to do?

I am trying to figure out what I really want to do to my shee before season comes. I have toomey T5's, vforce 3 reed, trinity 35pwk single carb kit, k&n no box. I will be mostly riding dunes and some trails here and there when im running alittle low on the funds. Now i was thinking about getting the noss head with 22cc domes so i can still run just pump gas but i will run race if need be. Im not sure if it would be a good idea to also get my engine ported. That and im not sure of a good shop in orange county. i took it to trinity and they are going to charge me like 1500 for a port, welding the crank, thier brand head and a cdi instead of getting of a adj. timing plate. I can afford the 1500 but i think i can get a better deal elsewhere for that much money. I also want to get new arms and shocks since the stock ones arent good from what i hear. i am open to alot of suggestions. thanks!

no ones beating me out of my friends i am just looking for everything i can do before i start getting into boring stuff out but even then i want to go with a cheetah cub so i wont be really using the stock cylinders. so im trying to to see what else i can do for this season cause next season is when i am going for that setup. im guessing that after i get my timing plate and noss head there wont be much left to do as far as stuff i can keep when i go to a cheetah cub next season?

I would say you should find the place that is going to do the cub and see what they will recomend. I would never see paying to port cylinders when you only plan to run them half of a season. If you just can't wait I would look into r&b porting they run auctions on ebay. R&B is cheap and good. Just my .02

I would say suspension. Whats all that power going to do, if you cant keep the tires on the ground. Traction is a wonderfull thing, and will make you faster. new suspension and new tires. hold on cuz its gonna be a new ride.

after I pumped my motor, i did suspension, and after I did the suspension I did the bars, neck and stem. also put on a dampner/stabilizer.

I then went from being tired from riding her...to not being tired at all. I can ride for days now.

Once you go cub....you're gonna spend a lot more than you think.

And kiss the trails goodbye for a cub.

BigRed350X said it best, cubs give you a whole lot of the wrong kind of power for trails.

I've been through this...once you go cub, you're a duning and drag race kinda bike...period.

That being said...you have to make the decision... If you just wanna dune and drag, get the head with 21cc domes. You're gonna need other domes anyways if you go big bore cub....but the head is a good invesment.

Now...if you decide you're not gonna go cub, get a good dune port on your stock cylinders...and some smaller domes and run race fuel.

If you're gonna run cubs....see my sig for the mods you'll want.

You probably don't need all the ignition mumbo jumbo...but, I wanted it...and got it...

T5s and a single 35PWK are really going to choke that motor out, period...

Then, you'll need a longer swinger, which changes the suspension setup drastically....

there's a good few threads on here for what guys have done once they've gone cubs...and how much money it really costs...
