tonyown
Hi all I'd like to get a noss cool head with 20 or 21 cc but right now I dont have money to do that... Would it be a good idea to mill my stock head? i run 91 octane fuel... how mm to mill if its a good idea? I suppose my 91 octane fuel doesnt help me for compression... will it change anything for jetting to mill the head... i suppose that it doesnt change the carb flow but I prefer to ask :baseball_w00t: so tell me all what you know about the subject and that you think I must know! (I know I already made a thread about cool head sorry to post a new one but I'm confused) thank you all!!
dajogejr
What compression are you at the way it sits right now? First, you need to find that out. Depending on where you're at (elevation)...you could probably go .020 and be ok.
tonyown
I'm at 120 compression.... my wiseco pro lites have aprox 12 hours runned :baseballcap_yellow:
dajogejr
.020 over. You shouldn't have to change jetting if it's correct now...but, it's gonna run hotter, keep that in mind with more compression. Check your plugs if you do shave you head. tonyown
i'd install milled head at same time as I'll install my temperature gauge so I suppose that I'll see it on my gauge and can stop engine when it's in the red
tonyown
I'd ask a shop to mill my head today It'll be 60$ (cnd) for .020 is it a good price
