But i hear and see a lot of good info about the V 3's

b33rs
do a search of reeds , has been talked about hundred times lmao, everything has been talked about I'm sure a hundred times. But, I find it funny that when someone might not know that, and asks a question you can bet he or she will be slammed for it. I don't know... call me crazy but wouldn't it be nice if people could ask a question and enjoy a little chit chat in doing so. This is a little more on the postive note, but I'm sure this is a few cool people on here that would be happy to help ya with anything  As for reeds VF3 hands down. gl man
JUGGS
V-Force 2's or 3's are the only way to go... :thumb:
dajogejr
Buy the boysen replacement reeds for stock cages. When you get some porting done...then go with Vforce...they will shine more. Good luck getting your hand on a set of VF2's....VF3's are all that's made now...
00tbanshee
i have boyesen rad valves in my shee now and i love them. now the rad valve cages have been ported but i say the work better for stock carbs. my cousin has the same setup that i have but he has the vf3's and i can stay with him or in front. so its up to you seems everybody like the vf3's though
dajogejr
Truthfully....reeds won't give you any seat of the pants feeling HP. You might get a pony or two on a dyno... What they will do is give you snappier throttle response. Some people take that for going faster...when actually it's just running cleaner and peppier... csrmel
i am inclined to agree. i talked with toomey and they told me boyesen replacment reeds give about 1 extra hp. i dont know if anyone could actually feel an extra hp. i imagine there might be more with v force 3 because it includes better cages and better design, but i cant see it being a big gain like pipes.
