blueshee03
yes they are good. the only carbs ive ever seen for alcohol lectrons are a good carb for alky.however if your going to run alky and don't have a pingel dual feed fuel shutoff i'd invest in one.also if your running more than 300 ft i'd go with a fuel pump. keihins and mikuni's can also be switched to alky.if keihins are switched over to run alky then they can not be switched back to gas because you have to drill out the dump tubes and they can't be replaced. mikuni's can be switched back to gas since they have replacable dump tubes. dajogejr
yes they are good. the only carbs ive ever seen for alcohol What??? You've never seen Mikuni's or Keihin's setup for alky? Where have ya been?? Austin...Alky is a great mod. It's cheaper than race gas, runs much cooler, etc. However, you're going to go through twice as much as you would gas...and you have to purge the system after your don riding. Sure, you can ride all weekend and wait a day or so after you get home, but...good idea to do it soon. You don't want that stuff sitting in your tank (it absorbs moisture out of the air like crazy...) If you plan on staying out all day on a tank or at least a few hours...it just ain't gonna happen. Jets for alky are HUGE.... And I agree...if you're gonna run it, RDZ makes larger float bowls, that and a fuel pump are a good idea. You're just building that bike.... I think alky should be on the list after you ride it on gas...and get used to it first....
AustinONeal
i do have the dual pingle valve and what my thinkin is when i got to the drag races i run the alky but just leasure riding run the gas, that thing already sucks gas like crazy i till be cool just to drag drag race, the option is always fun to have
