powerbanshee Posted August 21, 2006 Report Share Posted August 21, 2006 i was at silver lake today and rode for about 2 hours when i went to go up a big hill at wot and it cut out a little when i stopped it stalled and wouldn`t start, it tried to start but backfired a couple times, brought it back home and started to check it out, the spark plugs only sparked one out of every three kicks, so i put the coil of my 97 on it it`s a 87 and same thing, then i found a almost broken wire on the cdi box fixed that and still did the same thing, i pulled the stator cover but it looked alright but i don`t know what to check with that, any help would be greatly appreciated. Do you have TORS? no tors, the cdi mof my 97 wouldn`t work cuz of different hook ups, but i found the problem, another wire was broke, that sucks i lost 5 hours of riding at silver lake for just a fricken wire, go figure, thanks for the help!!!
