Nor'Easters aughta get an all Banshee team and race this race.

Race is being held at Old Mt Whittier Ski resort. RACING ON THE SKI SLOPES JUST LIKE THE WISP !!!

I'll look for yas. if you could get jason\banchetta to race on your team, you three would kick some major ass. Pit close enough to us (TPC Powercenter) and I could help out with your pits if you'd need some helpers.

$150 bucks per three man team.

You could also race solo for the whole 6 hours, you'd race the "ironman" class :baseball_sweat: . $50 dollar entry fee for ironmen.

I think its safe to say there won't be many teams racing a 2 stroke on Saturday. Turnout for these events is dropping with every race, so I hope a pile of teams show up.

You guys can follow the race at ATVScene's forum. Race starts at 11am, over at 5pm. Root  for team TPC Powersports racing in the Utility class :headbang: .

I have an 8 hour trip to NH tomorrow ! :baseball_original: In a big ol' motorhome :headbang:

Tips for 6hr races. Setup the quad to run fast and you can keep the quad wider than XC width. Some guys were running 50 inch MX fronts. They make the tracks wide and fast, but there's also woods and mud and rocks..... but the tight woods sections are easier than usual to keep from breaking all the kwads. Iv been to a few of these now and I'v never seen a team race a Banshee yet. I figure Banshee's would fare pretty well in these races cause of the long fast straightaways, and easier than normal woods\mud sections  If you could keep the Banshee together, you'd finish pretty high. The race is won by total laps, so don't race it like you stole it, race it smooth and without killing the quad. Have a good pit crew. 2 or 3 man pit crew is ideal. Any more and its chaos when the quad pulls in. Be quick with your pit stops, but take to your time in the pits, its a long race. Bring a clock or a stopwatch and time the laps. You MUST time the laps. You pit crew can be prepared for the worse if the quad doesn't fly past the pits on time.

Lets go racing.......

Had the quad on fire at one point during the race.

I have a few burns on my fingers :baseball_w00t:

Had a GREAT time.

Hung out wit JK & JK and Banchetta. You all shoulda seen em hill shootin' with the triple cylinder sno-mo's :headbang: The Banshee's held thier own and the crowd loved em.

For everyone who read this thread and didnt show up this past weekend......... you suck

Thanks+Congrats once again Denny to you+your crew. You guys deserve alot of credit for that hard earned victory. The guys from Denny's crew(TPC) were super helpfull+lent us a cest protector. So all of us banshee guys could have some fun on the mx track. This was their back up riders gear with an hour left to go in the race. We also had a great time+are looking forward to going back there on Sept 16th.For another challenge with the big sno-mo's on the hill.I think we surprised them with our little 350's :jesterlaugh:

Denny was filming as we were hillshooting, hopefully he can post some video. The hill was a real cake walk nothing difficult, but lineing up right next to a 900 tripple was a little intimidating. With my-2 1/2 swingarm it was a handfull comeing out of the hole.Next time i'll run my+2.Jason+joe were running+4's and had much better luck with the nail it+dump the clutch technique. :baseball_w00t:

All kindsa computer troubles here, this is the first time I'v been back online since Monday'ish. It's late, so I'll keep this short. I'll hook you guys up with some video asap. Im still learning how to use my new camera, its a DVD camcorder and there's alot of shit involved trying to get files off the disc and edited and still keep the file sizes small. With all the computer troubles I'v had this week, I really havent had any time to play with the camcorder, but I did get the video off the DVD disc and into my computer. Gimme a few days to figure out how to edit the video's and I'll post some clips.

after 6 hours of racing, we beat the only other Ute team by only 14 seconds :baseball_shocked: .

http://atvscene.com/race-reports/other/6hoursofnh-06.html#

Only two teams were present, but this race was one of the most talked about in the pits. Our own Lance Schwartz and his teammates Dave Porzi and George Richards of TPC Power Center debuted ATV Scene's upcoming Suzuki King Quad project. Meanwhile, on another King Quad, was Team ATV Innovations with the Quadfather himself, Markus Markow on board. Chris Maher and Glenn Schlude also manhandled the big red King.

After major suspension adjustments and a broken pipe TPC Power Center needed to make up about eight minutes with only an hour to go if they wanted to claim the inaugural Maxxis 6 Hours of New England. With only minutes to go the pass was made and victory was had. In the end only fourteen second separated the two after six hours of racing. How's that for a duel to the finish? The two teams had major respect for one another and look forward to the day when more utility ATVs show up to make it all the more fun.
