3ban5shee0 Posted August 15, 2006 Report Share Posted August 15, 2006 i took off my head because i needed to do some valve work cuz its a gay four stroke anywyas i put it back together and i cant get the sproket back on the camshaft it needs to go only about an 1/8 of an inch but it wont give enough slack to get back on whats going on chain is still on the crank is the tensioner just that hard so i cant get it back on never had this problem be4 any help would be good. thanks guys, justin Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
trex banshee Posted August 15, 2006 Report Share Posted August 15, 2006 well if it is like any other four stroke i have worked on, you have to take the tensioner out because it will not release unless you manually do it then when you bolt it back on then put the spring in and tighten the bolt you will here the tensioner go back to where it was, it's like a one way thing, there is a little lock on their you have to release.
