phreak
i am in the need of a new shifter (i hope). the stock one keeps wiggling itself loose on the shift shaft. i'm hoping the teeth (or whatever they're called) are worn down on the shifter and not the shift shaft. looking at both, neither look stripped. but.... the teeth on the shifter look almost rounded alittle. what is a decent priced steel shifter? i won't even consider a billet one. i had one and it did not last long at all. i've seen the ims flightline for fairly cheap. but i search around and haven't found any riders' experiences with them. open to suggestions..... :baseball_bat:
dajogejr
The billet shifter I have is a helluva log stronger than stock...I think it's a pro-design. It was on the quad when I bought it from my buddy... Have you thought about running a longer bolt all the way through yours, and a lock nut on the bottom? If you break this one...check to see if your foot is still attached... http://www.magicracing.com/Pro-Design-Bill..._p_666-980.html
