y2kbanshee9187
It seems fine in first and second and then at WOT in 3rd gear and up it misses for just a split second. I was thinking a piece of dirt in the carbs or just needed jetted because I just put on new pipes+reeds but Im not sure. Any ideas? thanks ben

y2kbanshee9187
I have a single carb. I have just been trying to play with the needle to see where it runs the best but its still missing. I need to go to dual carbs.
400ccStroker_shee
I have a single carb. If it misses when your WOT then its probably your main jet, if its the jetting. Also I prefer dual carbs to me it seems like you lose a little top end when you only have 1 carb Edited August 14, 2006 by 400ccStroker_shee
dajogejr
Hey y2k you could try going up 1 on the mains since you piped it If you went from stock pipes to ANY aftermarket pipes, I hope you went up more than just one on the main. Y2K...help us to help you. List all your mods, elevation and temps you ride in. We'll take it from there.... Dual carbs are not always ideal for all riders/riding locale...If I were to build a trail shee, that's probably what I'd go with to be honest...
