leaking coolhead

I opened the garage door and noticed my prodesign coolhead had seaped out just a little bit, I could tell from the dust that was on it. I took it off and all the orings looked fine, when i put it back on, I slid the orings on the studs and put the top on. I didnt use a torque wrench on it when I put it back together. I took it down the rode and back and now it leaks worse, I can actually see it seaping out. Do i need to buy another set of orings or readjust? Or maybe I got one pinched? I dont know, just thought I'd see what others thought before I tore it down again. Thanks Brandon

I would try cleaning the head and replacing the oring set. Have you been into the head before. If you have a few times it might be time to replace the orings. Good luck

For 20 bucks it's just not worth reusing those orings unless you're in a pinch...

Get some orange hi-temp RTV and put a thin layer on each and every Oring.

This will not only help keep them in place when reassembling it, but it will seal better as well.

And get that torque wrench.

I normally torque in sequence 10, 15 and then finally 20 to 22 ft. lbs...
