Tim C
Whats your elevation, temperature and any mods to the air filter/box. With no other mods and if your close to sealevel you should probably be around 270 - 280 mains
csrmel
toomey recomends 280 mains, stock idles and a toomey/dynojet needle. you can use the stock needle though.

With no other mods and if your close to sealevel you should probably be around 270 - 280 mains I live in Los Angeles. I ride at Pismo Beach (sea level) and Glamis (??? elev.) The mods I have are only the toomey's T-5 and K&N air filter with no air box. Other than that it is pretty much stock.

crazybluerider
I had 290s with LRD needles (dynojet) at sea level with just pipes and pods. I have LRD pipes but jetting should be close to the same.
dajogejr
T5's, no air box...just K&N...330 to 350. Unless Pismo and Glamis are more than 1000 ft or so... If so, start at 350 and subtract 10 for every 1000ft about sea level...

Fouled plugs w/ 360s, runs great w/340s. When the temp falls, I'll put 350s or 360s back in.
milo_32000
Hope this will help, Stock motor, PC pipes, no air box lid, 270 mains are dead on, in fact if I put the air box lid on it bogs, I`m 140' above sea level , Milo_32000
