Animalman294
Your lathe also has to have a tapered hub to hold it center. Boonie did mine as well as my shift star and I couldn't be happier......
rocketboy
it has to be machined/trued off a banshee crank to run true and concentric or it may possibly vibrate and/or explode
Bill
Just running it on A lath would'nt keep it true?

fastcar01
bottom end more controllable comming on the pipe & longer pipe band cornering, trails This is what I was thinking. Most of the time you add weight, but that may be only for single cylinders, not doubles.

BigRed350x
I've seen a lot of them explode from people trying to just toss them in a lathe and start chopping. You have to have a centering wheel for one and you have to have a way to balance the flywheel after you are done cutting. Its not just throw it in there and buzz it with your tool and bolt it back on the bike. It might work and be what your looking for, but in most cases under a year it will crack and explode inside your sidecover. I've also seen them take out crank bearings from being out of balance.
