LiftdT4R Posted August 4, 2006 Report Share Posted August 4, 2006 Allright, I went to put on my IMF tank today, and upon removing the old tank, I noticed sever cut wires, 10 to be exact, all leading out of plug ends. I'm guessing someone removed the TORS, in a real ghetto ass way, but I don't rmember TORS having that many wire going to it. If anyone could shed some light on what the best way to clean this up, or what plugs are cut, it would be greatly appreciated. The pics are below, I have plenty more if needed. Thanks guys! dajogejr Posted August 4, 2006 Report Share Posted August 4, 2006 I can tell you for a fact the bottom three are TORS. If your lights, key and on/off switch all work, I'd bet the other two are TORS related too. What I'd do is trace them back to where they cut into the harness, cut them there, tape each end separatly so they CAN'T touch, and tape it all together. I took the TORS off my buddies bike, for some reason I don''t remember there being plugs for, and I only remember 2 wires, ohh well was about a year ago, Thnaks again! With my new PWK Airstrikers TORS is a thing of teh past, because I think the TORS is Totally Over Rated Shit and shouldn't be on my bike................. Justintoxicated Posted August 5, 2006 Report Share Posted August 5, 2006 I'm cleaning up my wiring as well but the harness has been off the bike for about 3 months now and I forgot where everythign goes thanks for the pic! Now the Grey and black plugs are the TORS junk, but what about the white plugs? The one on the right plugs into the TORS box right? And the one on the top? I'm not so sure that is TORS related.
