Yeh cause their could be something wrong with your lower end and that would really suck if you just bolted on your new cubs and it does the same thing, it would be wise of you to find the problem before putting her back together with all new stuff.

10 minutes at WOT??? Holy Christ.... You need to gear it more, or something....

No two stroke is gonna last that long held at WOT for 10 minutes...period.

No problem holding 'em at WOT for a little bit, drag race, stretch on a trail, etc. But 10 minutes...no way.

You can build a cub to last a bit longer, but...nothing you build is gonna last that long.

I don't even think a bone stock shee will last long like that....

check out the sig

have the timing plate and the vforces

It actually held up for quite a whille with all the mods but the bigger carbs and the porting ridding at wot for that long. I rode to work very often and it was about a 15 minit drive. 20 in a car lol. Im not looking to do that anymore as it is only 3 miles to work now and I dont have to go that fast to get there. I just want to ride.

OK...gotcha....

Scratch my statement then....

I took a basically stock banshee and turned it into what you see in my sig in the last 4 months.

It had T5 pipes, pod filters, lightened flywheel and a timing plate...that was it.

Whole new Ignition and electrical system, new engine from the crank to the head, swinger, billet thumb throttle, carbs, pipes, and the list goes on.

Only thing I've got left is a longer round house swinger, 1-5 dunable override and a lockup.

Then I'm done... (ok, ok...maybe alky, not sure yet...:) )

I would have the crank checked out, and go for it as you can afford it!

you guys kind of have me worried. May end up waiting till I get back to the states to get it looked at there is no where here to have it done. But I will still need to get some cylinders so I can put it back together for shipping. But I really want to ride. Everything in the bottom seems ok. But I can only judge as well as one can without opening the case

I'd PM a few builders here, or look on Flebay to get you cylinders "to get by"...

Lack of support over there would have me worried, too.

Look in the for sale here and on Planetsand.com...

As long as you didn't trash these cylinders, you could probably get most if not all of your money back when you return stateside.

As I said I think the reason i have blown it the last 2 times is maybe I am putting the rings on the pistons wrong. I am stationed in Italy and have to do all my own work on the shee. I am NOT an experienced mechanic. I really dont want to get in to splitting casses and stuff. i just want to ride. I have so much money into this thing already that I cant see taking it back to stock. So I figure I can get the cubs and when I move back to the states I am moving to New Mexico. If I want to stroke it and port them I can always have it done when I am in the US. It is not cheap to ship a motor back and forth. I have moved much closer to base now so when I ride to work the trip is not as long and I think if I can kind of baby it till I get back to the states I will be ok.

also how much does it usaly cost for the clean up on the cubs?

You can't get it stroked later without buying new cylinders. I did the same as you were thinking about doing. I'm running stock stroke 68 mm b/c I also planned on stroking it later, but the cylinder port timings are different.

Ya, know the first thing that went through my mind was, instead of runnin' WOT for ten minutes to get to work. I think leavin' the house a little earlier would have saved me a lot of time with the shee and a lot less abuse. Because then you wouldn't have had to run at WOT to get to work on time................... :yelrotflmao:
