Nice tank, I'm thinking about getting a white one but I'm wondering how long it will take before it changes colors from the gas. How do you like that steering stem? I see Burgard's stuff around but haven't heard any feedback on it.

I like the steering stem alot!............I checked out others and they were too $$$$$........the stem is +1 and comes with everthing you need...(rubbers ....ect)..just choose the type of bars you run and your good!!..........Unlike most (not knocking the quality just the $$$$) there stems ran me $212 shipped to my door.........and fast.......(search ebay for stems)

I had a white tank before (on an old yz250).........it wasnt the natural white ...just white..........the only color change was from my pants rubbing the side............easy fix..........just take AJAX and a soft cloth and your back to normal.............as far as a natural..........I would assume it might change colors on the inside.......

Polish the supports and wires that touch the stinger tubes will melt. You might want to reroute that stuff if possible.

AHHHHHH.........good eye............I have had a battle with my wires ever since I reassembled my bike..............the CPI's are so close to the frame..........I have starred at a solution for hours..........any Ideas..........LMK

what did you buy for the intakes? What kind of tubing and boots are those?

If you go in the Plumbing Dept., you can pick up PVC tubing, ( it comes in 2 foot lengths) rubber boots that will make the tubing flex (if you are a plumber when you connect two togather).........and 6 hose clamps.......I have seen it done on a YFZ........and any paint for the PVC.........I works, and looks trick!!

I made something similar...my T5 were all over my brand new K&N's and outer wears I just got from jeff @ FAST. Then, I bought heat wraps from cascade. Then....I bought RDZ inframes, which IMO have the best clearance of all inframes by design...so, the tubes and heat shields weren't needed anymore.

Cost about 15 bucks at Home Depot....never used 'em...

Rubber to seal, plastic insert so the filters could "bite" on the tubes...

I think he meant inexpensive....

En..in...it's all good.

Polish...I'll save you the few bucks...and ship these to you for the cost of the ride if you'd like 'em.

They fit my 35PWKs...I'm sure they can go a little bigger.

The plastic had a lip in it...so, I sanded it with a dremel to remove that...

You could probably take 1/2 hour and do the rest.

They just sit in my "parts box" now...and as said, don't need 'em....

(sorry...already drank the bud light...:) )
