410 could be rich...but it's drag porting. Removing the packing won't help...may hurt.

You probably have too much paddle for your bike, especially if you're on a stock swingarm...

Stock carbs, T5 pipes and drag porting probably won't pull those tires. Put about 2 or 3 more PSI in the, see if that helps the top end, albeit at the loss of a little out of the hole.

Do a plug chop to see if your rich with those mains. If it's rich, it won't pull as good on the big end, either...

got a 10 + swing, the tires work great!! I ran a gut last night that had his shee on a dyno and said he is pushing 74HP and i would take him from the start to finsh but he was coming on hard, he had cpi pipes said they made a world of differents.

Get some Shearer/RDZ inframes...and you'll stay out in front.

Dynos are nice for trying different mods, dialing it, etc., but that number ends there.

A 70 HP bike can beat a 100HP bike with the right rider, setup, etc.

10 row with a +10 is more like it...gotcha...

See if your rich on top. Have you checked your compression yet?

What kind of plugs you running, and what's your gap at?

RIDIUM BR8EIX (NGK) +5 Timing just put new rings and 170 but my gauge is old and i got 165,then 168 so its not a real good check on that, do you think 114 is to much running 32 to 1 belray mix I'm going to go to 17cc domes shortly that might help but i think the pipes and stock carbs might kill me. What is your opinion?

17cc domes are gonna hurt you a tad on the top end...that's a lot of compression.

114 is fine.

I run 40:1, personal preference with leaded race gas.

With drag porting, yes...T5s and stock carbs are holding you back without a doubt.

I'm sure it's very responsive...but you're missing out on power on top end, which...is where you're at 99% of the time for drag racing.

Sounds like carbs would help you more than anything.I went from stockers and a dragport to a set of 34pjs and it really brought new life to the topend. Some cpis or any topend pipe would pull more.Did you ever measure the timings on those cylinders? The exhaust timing can really be usefull on choosing the rite pipe.

I will start to worry about dyno numbers when one passes me on the track.

(heard that one over on planetsand and I love it, so true...)

C'mon Red....you just don't wanna see dyno numbers cause you're at 7500 feet..

Yeah, I agree. It's nice to see what works and what doesn't...but, bottom line it's the rider 90% of the time.

Yeah the right rider makes all the differents in the world. You can have lots of HP but if you dont know how to put it to use you might as well run in the stock class. I'm not perfect thats why i ask questioins on here for ideas and advice from people with more time on the track and what will help get some HP the i can do my best to put it to good use. Already got some 34MM carb spotted, and pro design intakes with boost bottle 17cc domes and a few other odds and end parts that will make a great winter project. It ran good and hard last night but there was some that were just plain bad, GT preformace waws there and they run hard and have very nicely shee's and knowhow to getter done!! Thanks for the tips and advice I probably have more ?? later. Todd
