psuperman112
Hi, I've been viewing these boards for awhile because i've really wanted a banshee for some time now. Right now i have a yfz but i'm close to buying a banshee. I have a question, i see a lot of 7mm, 10mm banshees, what exactly does that mean? is that the stock engine bored out? the banshee i'm interested in is a 7mm on alky, could someone maybe give me any advice about buying it, or what i should know about a 7mm or even alky. this would be my first 2 stroke, but i'm excited about it. thanks

Animalman294
The alky will burn cooler and will allow a higher compression. With a 7mil on alky, that thing will run like a raped ape. I hope you are not a beginner quad rider.................. Oh, yeh, ya might wanna make sure you medical insurance is paid up :yelrotflmao:

psuperman112
its pretty much a drag banshee, should i be able to ride this around in the dunes, or should i keep my yfz for that, and use the banshee strictly for racing?
Animalman294
Well it depends on how fast you want to run on the dunes. If you can afford it I'd keep them both, because the YFZ is no slouch for a 4-poke for dune carvin' and bowl bouncin', then race the Shee...............
ohiobanshee
After riding a 7 mill on alky who would want to ride anything else?
