You will not have to rejet fo either one the cool head has nothing to do with jetting and the reeds may richen it up but not usally enough to rejet. dajogejr
I agree. Normally...you may have to lean out the needle one clip..but, is not always neccessary... If it's a little boggy in the middle, move the clip one notch towards the blunt end. You will however have to rejet for the K&N Pod filters. If you're going from airbox to clamp ons, it'll be about 3 or 4 sizes larger on the main....
skyline_898
ok thanks, but everytime h ave to rejet, do i hav to buy a new jet kit? or do i just adjust the ones that i have?
dajogejr
Jet kits are a waste of money, period. pilots rarely change...use the air screw to fine tune. Main jets change with mods, temps, elevation, etc. Buy just the jets you need from carbparts.com, sudco.com or magicracing.com, or...if they have 'em and the price is fair...your local stealership... dajogejr
Mikuni Mains are pretty much the same. The pilots, however...are very different. When you order, make sure they know they are 26mm banshee stock carbs. The pilots in those carbs are a little longer than standard Mikuni Pilots.
