wich Chain

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, my chain failed this weekend and I'm looking for a new one with tow sprocket (maybe 15-41) what do you think about this? What is acceleration with 15-41 is it too bad for the top speed it gives? I'm looking to buy it online can someone give me a link? I looked at royal distributing but they dont have oring chain 520x104 :baseball_wassat:

I swapped over to a DID X-ring about a month ago or so and have been very pleased so far. Rocky Mountain ATV has them for around $70, I think. Rocky Mountain ATV. As far as gearing is concerned, it all depends on what kind of riding you do and the other mods you have. I run 13/42, but I only ride the sand, duning. So it really helps to know what you are going to be doing to help determine gearing.

Call Jeff at Fast Racing...he sells the chain by the foot, can probably give you just as good a deal.

I think with just pipes and no porting on your motor, you won't like 15 tooth front unless all you do is ride hard dirt roads and are looking to gain a few MPH...

14/41 is really good all around gearing unless you're going 1/8 mile or sand dragging...

I put 15/41 on my stock motor, Rocket Pipes (testing them) no air box, lightened flywheel and timing advanced 4 degrees...and I still didn't like the way it pulled.

The DID X Ring gold from magic is an excellent chain. Rode it all last year, and it seemed like all we did is drag race. Gave it to my cheapo buddy, his stocker was kinked. Still going great!

If I didn't buy a +6 for my cub, I'd have no doubt it still be on my bike...tough mofo!
