dawarriorman
Hmmm, I had a roommate a couple years ago from Cary that used to ride. I'll give him a call and see if he knows anywhere. Off the top of my head though, I don't think theres that much public riding areas open up there. Might be a couple tracks.
NECK
Depends on where you're at in Raleigh Durham, and if you're willing to travel at all. I don't know of anything locally besides Busco Beach down that way, but I live in Winston Salem, and there's some decent places up here. I only ride trails, so I can't help you on MX. Uwharrie Forest is real good. It's rocky in places, but has some good hills, and the trails are pretty fast. There's usually alot of people there on the weekends. There's also a place that used to be public, but the neighbor's had them shut down. Now you have to be "friends" of the family. It's about 40 mins north of me. PM me if you want and I'll tell you how to get up there. Brushy Mountain is about an hour northwest of W.S., haven't been there yet, but hope to soon. I hear the trails are real good, but the MX tracks are beat. Not too far south of Charlotte is TNT motorsports park. Their trals are real tight for a Banshee, but they also have 2 MX tracks that allow quads on them. There's places to ride in N.C., most of them require an all day road trip, no matter where you're at.
