joshv5.0
i have replaced the stator with a new one because it wasn't in specs (ohm'ed it out) still won't spark, i have also ohm'ed the coil and it seems to also be out of spec. i checked the gap on the pickup to flywheel it is about .018 next i'm going to change the coil question is should the headlights come on at all when i kick it over? because i don't see any light coming on at all. DRI4life
yea you should see some light from your headlights when you kick it IF your headlight switch is on.. the factory coil is known for wearing out. sounds like your problem. if not then just return the new coil

DRI4life
well when you get your bike started try the voltage regulator. its right next to the cdi box. mine went out after i installed a bigger stator.. the gap is still the same as a stock stator the coils are just fatter not any longer..
