1998banshee
they do fit and they make a world of difference in the ride and how your bike lands when you launch it
BigRed350x
They are nice, but too stiff from the get-go. Have them revalved by shane and you will love them even more. Edited August 30, 2006 by BigRed350x
Flyin_Shee
Has anyone heard of running the complete front end of the YFZ? Arms, tie-rods, spindles, etc. I tried doing a search for a complete YFZ front end but didn't find anything. I would think that'd be the best setup as you'd get the wider front for cheaper than aftermarket.

racer
cut/fab and it will fit. but it lowers the shit out of the front of your quad. there are pix of a conversion floating around here somewhere.

Yeah, but for all that expense, whats the gain? Changing out the front end isn't going to fix any geometry issues. And you're not going to get much longer shocks out of it, the upper shock mount is still too low. If you're going to cut and fab, copy Sundahl's frame. Thats improving the geometry. All you'd accomplish by cutting and welding yfz450 a-arms is a weakened frame from all the cutting and welding, and a frankenstein front end that uses one quads a-arms, with shocks that would have to be totally custom made. Long Rod Todd
Personally I like the 450 front end conversion. I have 450 front control arms, shocks and dual piston front brake calipers. I didn't modify the frame to fit the control arms, I modified the control arms to fit the frame. Front end pic This was a pic that was taken before the ride height was adjusted and the calipers had been installed.

The top fit but are flipped basically backwards to yfz right?
