ThE_BaNsHeE_mAn88
i just road a raptor 660 the other day and the power is awsome and it pulls hard. it stock with the pipe gutted out. the power is good but the thing handles like crap!!!!!it tips way to easy and the thing just doesnt take corners good at all.if you dont get the back end loose befor you go into a corner your probly going to tip. well thats what i think about it whats your guys thought. walk72
we have a raptor, it's nice to ride, cause its so smooth and rides like a cady. But your right when you go to turn slow down or your going over.
bansheeseat$$
My daughter loves hers and I've thrown a leg over it a few times for night ridding.Very tippy though so I just put wheel adaptor extensions on it and it helps.

flipcarre
I got rid of my raptor for the tipping issues, if your going down a back road nice fishtail but if your going fast in a trail and theres a 180 turn or 90, your fucked... Man that day hurt..
thegroup
The 700r is a different story :baseball_original: aint that the truth. ill take a 700r over a 660r anyday of the week.
bansheerage
i have a raptor also but i dont ever ride it. the shee is so much better to me. i never rode the 700 but will soon. the raptor is fast stock but is tooo floaty for me. but they are supposedly better at things like mx and xc racing. i dont know.. shehan
i really like my 03 raptor. I had the carb jetted, K&N airfilter with the exhaust header&pipe - just enough to really open it up. it rolls out and is a beast in the trails. Its almost tire timethough - I'd like to put some of those big dawg ITP 589 m/s on it and head to some swamp land. + reverse
differentstrokes
I've never been on a 660 before, but I've rode with them several times. I'm a fan of the 450's myself, but the raptors look good. I've heard of them being real tippy though, I think their wheelbase/width is real close to a banshee's but the seat height is higher. I've also always heard just about anyone could ride one because the power is smooth. Probably ideal if you rode tight woods or any other slower riding. tithead
the 660`s sit too high IMO... i think thats the biggest problem with the tipping and not cornering properly.
hittintrees srh
i had a 01 660 that i put almost three grand into, and it was still slow. imo. so i sold it and bought a banshee the next day I also aggree that they are a very top heavy quad-infact while shootin some dunes about two years back, i found out the full extent of how poorly thay handle.... long story short, i wound up in intensive care for three days following that dunes trip. but chicks dig scars and hospital drugs are always the best!!!!!!!!!! Animalman294
I've a few Raptor's and they do take some getting used to. I like to do donuts on my shee, but when I do them on my wifes Raptor I have to be careful of the high center of gravity. The thing has power, but if that outside rear tire digs in on me it raises the front and puts the bike on the outside two, or sometimes rear (one tire). And I didn't stay on the full 8 seconds either :yelrotflmao: I like it for trail ridin' though...............................
liquedfire
i think a raptor is a good shitkicking quad (back up bike lol) u can beat it and as long as u do the oil changes it will never die and as for the tippy part it cant be any worse then a tri-z 3wheeler all u gotta do is get used 2 riding it and its alot cheaper on gaz then a banshee once u got a shee and a craptor u got best of both worlds ( of corse the shee is still king ) if it was a good deal i would jump all over a craptor lol my back up bike is a 01 400ex and its come in handy more times then one Glenn  Edited July 10, 2006 by liquedfire
