Yami pistons are cast, whereas the 'co's are forged. Unless you got a steal of a price on the yamie pistons, I'm not sure why'd you go with them. Do you have a hookup at a dealer or something? locogato11283 Posted July 10, 2006 Report Share Posted July 10, 2006 i think yamaha pistons are junk. weve had them fall to pieces before with no good reason as to why they did. bike wasnt lean and there were no problems with anything. this was a stock motor, never been touched. both pistons just started fallin apart..id only run wiseco.
