rocketboy
The 7mil since it's ported. The cub if neither cylinders were ever touched. yeah, that makes sense to me .i never raced a 7mm yet with my 358cub but im sure they have much better lowend/holeshot ability .the lil cub has amazing potential (when its really opened up) porting layout will play a huge part in the power difference ,i see alot of people bitch about there 7mills not being much of any faster than theyre old 4mill setups . its gonna boil down to whoever has a better setup and can ride better ,too many variables

Banshee~
7mm most easy ive seen 4mm stock jugs beat 358 cubs depends a lot on the rider as most have said. 7mm will make a lot of torque yep, I saw a 4 mil stock cylinders with: porting, cpi's, bigger carbs, and +2 swinger beat a stock cub easy. The 4 mil wheelied all the way down the strip.

creamsickle
I know you guys have it broken up into classes like 300ft and road and that stuff. but I raced a 7mill stock jugs just up a hill in the sand and well really it was whoever got the whole shot. I think I wont 3 and he won 2. mines a 4mill cub with pt pipes. so not a drag bike at all. I also raced a 358 cub and walked all over it. so im assuming that the 7mill would prevail. but the crazy thing about this sport is really any person can beat anybody on any given race. ive seen 10mill get beat up hills by 350s bad launch bike ran like shit gearing was off. so you knwo there are tons of variables that come into play. but to generalize it I would go with the 7mill. interesteing concept let us know if you guys actually race. I agree alot thers alot more to it than motor. The longer the race the more the horses will shine.
Rustbag
i will say also a huge part of the out come in any race is the riders skills.a good rider with 50 hp is capable of beating a bad rider with 100 hp.this and chassis setup are most of the time overlooked.most guys seem to think its all about motor and hp. I guess I'm most guys. :shoothead:
