2strokesmoke
i would start with a compression test
dajogejr
Check your electrical as well. New plugs, check the coil end caps, etc. I'm assuming it still has the TORS on it. Check all those connections too, at the throttle, parking brake, on the carbs and going into the TORS brain under the gas tank. Don't overlook the little things, like a clean air filter and fresh gas/oil too... Normally...if it's compression, it'll be reversed. Start like a mofo when cold, but start right up when warmed. Don't get me wrong, compression test it anyways, just to get a base line. Have you done any mods lately? What are your mods?
9603banshee
with stock carbs, when warm, use half choke & quarter throttle, works every time!!
dajogejr
with stock carbs, when warm, use half choke & quarter throttle, works every time!! Shouldn't have to do that... Hell, if it's tuned right, you barely even have to kick it...you shouldn't need any gas or choke, especially when warm...
LIM_Whiteboy4life
when mine is warm i just step on the kick start and it fires up lol
9603banshee
with stock carbs, when warm, use half choke & quarter throttle, works every time!! I also forgot to mention possibly putting in some bigger pilot jets....
dajogejr
You need to check your sparkplugs... You may be too Rich, would possibly explain why it starts good cold...but tough when it's warm...
Banshee 442
hey guys, thanks for all the input. Everyhting seems to be great, compression is up there, Jetting is slightly rich, however not to rich to cause a problome. Im almost thinking the stator could be going bad as it only happens when it warms up. I will keep playing around with it to see what i get. Thanks for all the help. dajogejr
Stator, CDI or Coil. Normally...it's electrical once it warms up...what I was originally thinking. I have two stock coils in my garage, let me know if you need one!
