FMS50
I just bought a Noss Machine cylinder head for my 99 banshee. I called them and they said that I wont need to use a head gasket with this head. So now I am wondering how can those o rings take the heat and cylinder pressure that will be put on them and last. And has anyone had any problems with them so far as reliability. Im sure they will work fine I just wanted someone's opinion on them. strokrbanshee1
They work very well, use alittle bit of grease on your o rings when you put it together, the grease helps hold the orings in place until it is bolted up...

You need to find out the elevation unless its really high you will most likely need race fuel with 18s.Im running 18s at 900ft and im rite around 180 psi.I run 111 octane. If you run this high of compression you will see big gains in lowrange with instant thortle response. Banshee_19
This may be an amature question but what are the domes for? I ride at 3000ft, so what domes would I need?
MILO
This may be an amature question but what are the domes for? I ride at 3000ft, so what domes would I need? the domes basically reduce the space inside the cylinder, which creates greater compression. check out the chart on the bottom of this link's page http://www.nossmachine.com/banshee_heads.htm
RILS
This may be an amature question but what are the domes for? I ride at 3000ft, so what domes would I need? Depends on what type of fuel you want to run.For 93 octane and below stay below 150 psi use the chart to determine.

Is your crank welded? -David The head is on and the bike runs great and no leaks. Im just waiting for it to cool down so I can retorque it again. I am going to run race gas and no the crank is not welded. Do you think that will be a problem. I also added a PWR radaitor to try and keep the temp down.
