Water in oil

Recommended Posts

OK, change the water pump seal!!!!!!!!!!! Don't post back in here until you do. Then after you do, if you still notice water in the oil, let us know.

You might not think you're losing anything, but as your machine cools, it will pull some coolant from the bottle back into the radiator if needed. Thats the way its designed (sometimes it won't though). That could be why your not noticing a difference in the coolant level.

The o-ring they are referring is on the tube that sticks out when you take the side case off the engine. Its right by the water pump, you'll see it when you take the side case off.

Why don't you take your 23 year old ass all the way to my door step and tell me not to post on here again. For fuck sakes you are still on your first dick!!

If you don't want to help, thats fine, don't post or don't be a ass about it. All I am trying to do is get ready for taking that case apart to do the job and some young punk thinks he knows it all. Let me guess, in you past life as an unrinal you designed the banshee.

GROW UP!!!

"o-ring on the pass through "..............where is that one located??? Is it what I am pointing at in the pics below?

if you look on the head at the rear on the center there is a hose that runs down between your intakes. if you follow that hose it clamps on to a aluminum fitting about an inch to the right of your thumb in the first pic. that fitting goes through the case and is held in place with a steel ring that fits in a groove with another groove that has an o-ring on it (when you pull your side cover off you will see it) the fitting goes into a hole in your clutch cover allowing your coolant to flow through a passage in the clutch cover to your water pump impeller then out through the hose on the front of the clutch cover

part #15

goes into the hole next to where bolt #11 goes through the clutch cover
