IamKazam
Would a single 38mm cv carb kit work well with a 421 cub. I know that cubs are top end motors but, I just think that one carb would be easier to tune than 2 plus you dont have to worry about carb sync. EastCoast Banshee
No sense in owning a cub if you dont let it breath. Get yourself two carbs, 34s should do fine Edited June 7, 2006 by EastCoast Banshee

My 06 shee has the single 38mm setup and I shread other cubs with two 35mm carbs. My .02 cents
IamKazam
Thats what I was thinking. Does it help out with bottom end?
bansheeseat$$
Thats what I was thinking. Does it help out with bottom end? Honestly I don't know about the added bottom end. When I built this cub engine the 38mm setup is what I put on it and I haven't ever put a dual set up on this engine.I know in my case when I start off it seems ok at the bottom but if I slip the clutch and pin it at a slow cruising speed it pulls instantly. jay shafer
Isn't it a 41 single made also? I think Cascade was telling me that its one that big for the single carb kit.
dajogejr
Cascade carries 2 one into two carb setups. If you look on their site, under Cubs, they have the 38 in standard and polished variety... Aww...hell, I'm bored at work, here ya go. Funny...I don't see it on their site now. I'm 100% positive it was there before, and for over 410cc cubs, they recommend a 38PWK...here's the little brother... http://webforce.nwrain.net/founder/cascade...TORE_DEPT_ID=
